Supporting social workers, raising awareness, and facilitating positive change in diverse communities.
OUR SERVICES
UKSWA CIC, a non-profit charitable organization located in Chichester, West Sussex, has a remarkable story. It was established in October 2015 by Hilda Chehore, who was inspired by personal experiences. Initially, our organization focused on supporting Social Workers and Students from Zimbabwe. In 2017, we expanded our reach to the UK, offering aid and assistance to all Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) social workers and students residing in the country.
Here at UKSWA CIC, our dedication lies in promoting social justice and instigating positive change. Our mission involves providing social work education and challenging oppressive and racist practices within social work organizations. By doing so, our aim is to improve working conditions for social workers and students, thus contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society.
